Despite an overall step-down from the historic highs of 2021, enterprise SaaS is staging a rebound driven by the generative AI frenzy.

Investors poured $14 billion into enterprise SaaS across 597 deals in Q4 2023. Several startups have had high-profile raises, including Germany’s Aleph Alpha, which builds large language models for enterprises and landed a more than $500 million Series B in November. Loom, a video messaging startup, was acquired by Atlassian for $975 million in November.

Several startups are integrating AI into enterprise processes like customer outreach, cybersecurity and data analytics. Here are the 10 most active VC investors in enterprise SaaS startups by deal count since 2018.

This list is limited to VC investors and excludes angel groups, accelerators, incubators and growth investors, among other investor types.
